Cefmetazole, the chemical name is (6R, 7S)-7-[(cyanomethylthio)acetamido]-7-methoxy-3-[1-methyl-1H-tetrazolium-5-sulfur Methyl]-8-oxide-5-thia-1-azacyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid, density is 1.75 g/cm3, melting point is between 163-165ºC Kind of white to light yellow powder; odorless; hygroscopic. It is clinically suitable for the treatment of pneumonia, bronchitis, biliary tract infection, peritonitis, urinary tract infection, uterine and accessory infections caused by sensitive bacteria.

This product is suitable for the treatment of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pneumoniae, Proteus, Morganella morganii, Providence, Peptostreptococcus, Bacteroides, etc., which are sensitive to cefmetazole sodium. The following infections caused by Prevotella (except Biloba Prevotella):
