Introduction
Chlorphenesin, a preservative, is widely used in cosmetics and compatible with most preservatives, including potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, and methylisothiazolinone.
In cosmetics and personal care products, Chlorphenesin helps to prevent or retard the growth of microorganisms, and thus protects the product from spoiling. Chlorphenesin may also function as a cosmetic biocide, which means that it helps prevent the growth of microorganisms on the skin which reduces or prevents odor.
Function
1. It has bactericidal effect on epidermal tinea fungus, microspore tinea fungus and trichoderma fungus.
2. Have anti-trichomonas effect.
3. For skin tinea and vaginal enzyme bacteria or trichomonas infection.
4. Used as a general preservative in the formulation of cosmetics and personal care products to improve the anti-corrosion performance of the system
