	Product Description Carbocistein is a respiratory mucolytic agent. Its action is similar to that of bromhexine, and the mechanism of action is to cause the disulfide bond of mucin in sputum to be cleaved, thus decreasing the viscosity of sputum, and increasing the mucus fibers in sputum, lubricating the bronchial lining, increasing the secretion of salivary mucin of low viscosity and decreasing the production of rockweed mucin of high viscosity, thus decreasing the viscosity of sputum and making it easy to cough up.
