Betaine hydrochloride is a derivative of trimethylglycine. Its main use is feed additive. It is the main form of industrial production because of its more stable structure, easy storage and production, and its ability to replace methionine.
Betaine hydrochloride is mainly used as a highly efficient methyl donor, which can partially replace methionine and choline chloride, reducing feed costs.
Used as Feed Additive.
1. Improve the carcass quality and breast muscle mass of broilers.
2. It is the main attractant component of aquatic bait, which can improve the palatability and utilization rate of bait, increase feed intake and increase daily gain.
3. Improve the feeding rate of piglets and promote their growth.
