The toxicity of PHMB is very low, LD 50 >5000mg/kg, No irritant reaction to the skin and eyes, no allergenicity, can be used for a long time, the fabric treated with PHMB is safe and harmless, and has no toxicity to the human body and the environment.
PHMB has high antibacterial efficiency, good heat stability, does not decompose at high temperatures during melt spinning, has corrosion inhibition effect, can withstand more than 50 water washes, and has good stability.
PHMB has no effect on the original physical and mechanical properties, color, and dyeing performance of fibers or fabrics.
The pH range is wide, stable and effective between 1-11.
