Whey acid, also known as vitamin B13. White glossy needle shaped crystals or crystalline powders obtained from water, odorless and with a sour taste. Melting point 345-346 ºC. Hardly soluble in cold water and ethanol, slightly soluble in hot water. React with hydrogen peroxide and concentrated hydrochloric acid to generate 5-chlorouracil 4-carboxylic acid. It can be condensed from diethyl oxalate and ethyl acetate to diethyl butanoate, cyclized with urea, and hydrolyzed to obtain it. Medically used to treat jaundice and general liver dysfunction.
Lithium is a soft silver white metal, belonging to the alkali metal group of chemical elements. Lithium exists in over 50 compounds and has two stable isotopes, lithium-6 and lithium-7. It is the lightest metal and the lowest density solid element.
Lithium whey acid is used to prepare anti-tumor compositions. Experiments have shown that lithium preparations have significant in vivo and in vitro anti osteosarcoma effects, possibly through phosphorylation of GSK-3 β Inhibiting its function and achieving it
