What is Bromhexime HCL? Bromhexime HCL is a sputum regulator with strong mucus dissolving effect, which can make the mucopolysaccharide fibers in sputum break, decompose and thin out the sputum, and also inhibit the synthesis of mucopolysaccharides, reduce the content of sialic acid (one of the components of acidic mucopolysaccharides) in the sputum, reduce the viscosity of sputum, and make it easy to be discharged.
