                   Sodium ascorbate is a kind of organic matter, chemical formula is C6H7O6Na, white to yellowish white crystalline powder or particles, odorless, slightly salty taste.The decomposition temperature is 218ºC. It is stable in the dry state, and the color deepens when exposed to light. It is slowly oxidized and decomposed in the aqueous solution after absorbing moisture.It is more soluble in water (62g/100mL) than ascorbic acid, with a pH of about 7.5 in 10% aqueous solution .
