Mebendazole is a broad-spectrum enteroinsecticide, which has been proved by both in vivo and in vitro experiments to directly inhibit the glucose intake of nematodes, resulting in glycogen depletion, making it impossible for nematodes to survive. It has significant effects of killing larvae and inhibiting the development of eggs, but it does not affect the blood glucose level in human body.It can be used to prevent and control intestinal parasitic diseases such as hookworm, roundworm, pinworm, whipworm and fecal nematode.
