What's Furantoin?  Nitrofurantoin is an organic compound with a chemical formula of C8H6N4O5. It is a yellow crystalline powder, odorless, and has a bitter taste. It becomes darker when exposed to light. It can be dissolved in dimethylformamide, and extremely in ethanol. Slightly soluble, almost insoluble in water. Mainly used for urinary system infections caused by sensitive bacteria.
Application & Function of Furantoin Nitrofuranto for the treatment of urinary tract infections caused by sensitive Escherichia coli, pneumoniae bacillus, aerobacteria, and Proteus; Nitrofurantoin prevents urinary tract infections. The antibacterial activity of this product is not affected by pus and tissue decomposition products, and it has strong activity in acidic urine.
