Rosuvastatin, also known as Rosuvastatin, is astatin that is used in combination with exercise, diet and weight loss to treat hypercholesterolemia and other related conditions, as well as to prevent cardiovascular disease. Rosuvastatin was developed by Shionogi Pharmaceuticals.
Application:
The main site of action of rovastatin is liver. From the perspective of inhibiting sterol synthesis, the selectivity of rovastatin to rat liver is higher than that of peripheral tissue, and the selectivity of rovastatin to liver tissue is higher than that of pravastatin or simvastatin.
