What is Josamycin propionate? Josamycin propionate is a macrolide antibiotic, has an antibacterial spectrum similar to that of erythromycin, and its antibacterial activity is slightly weaker than that of erythromycin. Compared with erythromycin, symthomycin has higher tissue concentration, lighter gastrointestinal reaction, not easy to induce staphylococcal resistance, and satisfactory clinical efficacy, which is a kind of antibiotic with wide application range and high therapeutic effect. Symptomycin propionate is suitable for pharyngitis and tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, sinusitis, otitis media, acute bronchitis and oral abscess caused by sensitive bacteria, pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae, and skin and soft-tissue infections caused by sensitive bacteria, and it can also be used for staphylococcal infections that are resistant to penicillin and erythromycin.

Application & Function It is clinically applied to infections of oropharynx, respiratory tract, lung, sinus, middle ear, skin and soft tissues, biliary tract and other parts of the body caused by sensitive bacteria.
