Mequindox is a western medicine preparation, mainly used for swine dysentery and bacterial enteritis caused by Treponema pallidum. This product is bright yellow crystal or yellow powder, odorless, slightly bitter in taste, and becomes darker when exposed to light. Broad-spectrum antibacterial drugs, stronger on Gram-negative bacteria than positive bacteria, stronger on Treponema pallidum, on piglet yellow dysentery, pullorum, calf diarrhea, paratyphoid fever, Pasteurella fowl, pullorum in chickens, and Escherichia coli in chickens. Effective, mainly used for swine dysentery and bacterial enteritis caused by Treponema.
