             Amiloride, also known as amilopimide, is a light yellow to yellowish-green powder of the chemical.Chemical name N-amidine-3.5-diamino-6-chlorpyazine-2-amide, molecular formula is C12H18ClN7O, molecular weight is 311.77100, slightly soluble in water and anhydrous ethanol,   ether , easily soluble in dimethyl sulphoxide,  dark.As a cardiovascular drug, amiloride is mainly used in the clinical treatment of edematous diseases, and can also be used in the adjuvant treatment of refractory hypokalemia.
