1) The pharmacological antibacterial effect is similar to that of Tylosin, mainly against Gram positive bacteria, and also effective against a few Gram negative bacteria and Mycoplasma. Its activity against Actinobacteria pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella, and Mycoplasma animalis is stronger than that of Tylosin. According to reports, 95% of hemolytic Pasteurella strains are sensitive to this product.
(2) Pharmacokinetics: After oral administration or subcutaneous injection, this product has fast absorption, strong tissue penetration, and a large distribution volume.
Mainly used for the prevention and treatment of bovine pneumonia and mastitis caused by sensitive bacteria, as well as for mycoplasma diseases in pigs and chickens.
