Its mechanism of action is to inhibit the synthesis of fungal cell membrane and affect its metabolic process. It has antibacterial effect on superficial fungi and some deep fungi. Clinically, it is mainly used for external use to treat dermatomycosis, such as hand and foot tinea, tinea corporis, ear canal, vaginal mycosis, etc. This product is highly toxic and may cause gastrointestinal reactions, abnormal liver function and leukopenia when taken orally. It is less used now. No adverse reactions to external use, occasional local inflammation. There are 1% to 3% creams and suppositories for external use.
