What is Tobramycin? Tobramycin also called obramycin, is a white to off-white hygroscopic powder chemical. The molecular formula is C18H37N5O9, and the molecular weight is 467.51400. Soluble in water, very slightly soluble in ethanol, almost insoluble in ether, pH of 10% aqueous solution is 9.0~11.0. Clinically, it is mainly suitable for the treatment of neonatal sepsis, sepsis, central nervous system infection (including meningitis), genitourinary infection, lung infection and other diseases caused by Gram-negative bacilli.
