| What's Clotrimazole? Clotrimazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent with good antibacterial activity against various fungi, especially Candida albicans. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit the synthesis of fungal cell membranes and affect its metabolic processes. It has antibacterial effects on superficial fungi and some deep fungi. The main clinical use for external use, treatment of skin fungal diseases, such as hand and foot sputum, body sputum, ear canal, vaginal mycosis. The product is toxic, oral administration may have gastrointestinal reactions, abnormal liver function and leukopenia. It is now used sparingly. No external reactions, no local inflammation.
