Betamethasone dipropionate is a glucocorticoid steroid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive abilities.

It is applied as a topical cream, ointment, lotion or gel (Diprolene) to treat itching and other minor skin conditions such as eczema.
 

Function

Betamethasone sodium phosphate is sometimes prescribed as anintramuscular injection (I.M) for itching from various ailments, including allergic reactions to poison ivy and similar plants.

Betamethasone Sodium Phosphate  is a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive abilities. Betamethasone 21-phosphate sodium salt is used where water retention is undesirable.
