Vancomycin as a narrow-spectrum antibiotics, only the gram positive bacteria effectively, such as hemolytic streptococcus, pneumococcus and enterococcus are sensitive to the bacteria resistant s. aureus is particularly sensitive to this product.Its mechanism of action is inhibition of the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, it mainly and the combination of bacterial cell walls, and make some sugar peptide amino acid could not enter the cell wall.Clinical is mainly used for resistance to penicillin severe infections caused by s. aureus bacteria, such as pneumonia, endocarditis and sepsis, infection and sepsis caused by hemolytic streptococcus, etc. Also has good curative effect.
