Use for :   

(1) for the prevention and treatment of hypophosphatemia.It is also used as phosphorus additive for total venous hypernutrition therapy to prevent hypophosphatemia.

(2) As an adjuvant to urinary tract infection, this drug can acidify urine, thus enhancing the antibacterial activity of urlotropine amygdalate and urlotropine equurate, and can eliminate the odor and turbidity of urine containing  during urinary tract infection.

(3) Prevention of calcium-containing kidney stones.This drug can acidify the urine, increase calcium solubility, prevent calcium deposition in the urine, thus preventing the recurrence of calcium-containing kidney stones.
