What's asparaginase?  Asparaginase is a drug that selectively inhibits tumor cells. Tumor cells cannot synthesize the amino acid asparagine necessary for growth by themselves, and must rely on the host's supply. This product can hydrolyze asparagine and make tumor cells lack of asparagine, thereby inhibiting growth. Normal cells are less affected because they can synthesize asparagine by themselves.

Application & Function of asparaginase Asparaginase has the best effect on acute lymphoblastic leukemia, with a remission rate of more than 50%, and the remission period is from January to September. It also has a certain effect on acute myeloid leukemia and acute monocytic leukemia. It also has a good effect on malignant lymphoma.
