Name : Amikacin
Shape : White crystalline powder
1 This applies to goods and other pseudomonas genus pseudomonas aeruginosa, escherichia coli and proteus (indole positive and indole negative), prue vuitton bacteria, klebsiella bacteria, e. coli, Mr Charest bacteria genera, acinetobacter and staphylococcus aureus bacteremia caused by, such as bacterial endocarditis, sepsis (including neonatal sepsis), respiratory infections, joint infection, infection of the central nervous system(including meningitis), skin and soft tissue infections, biliary tract infections, abdominal cavity infections (including peritonitis), burns, post-operative infections (including post-vascular surgery infections) and recurrent urinary tract infections.
2 Amikacin should not be used for the initial treatment of a simple urinary tract infection unless the pathogen is not sensitive to other less toxic antimicrobials.
3 Amikacin is stable to most of the aminoglycoside purified enzymes, so it is suitable for the treatment of kanamycin, gentamicin or tobramycin resistant strains of Gram-negative bacilli, especially infections caused by Prouvitonella, Serratia marxygii and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Amikacin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic, is a white or quasi-white powder or crystalline powder, almost odorless, tasteless. The mechanism of action is to act on the ribosome in bacteria, inhibit bacterial protein synthesis, and destroy the integrity of bacterial cell wall, resulting in bacterial cell membrane destruction, cell death. It is suitable for infection caused by Gelane-negative bacilli and penicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus.Intramuscular or intravenous infusion, with a half-life of about 2h and up to 30h in the absence of urine, rarely binding to proteins. The main cause of cochlear nerve damage, ototoxicity, nephrotoxicity similar to gentamicin.Amikacin depends on bacterial 30S subunit binding, blocking bacterial protein synthesis and play an antibacterial role.
