This product is a cephalosporin antibiotic, which has a good antibacterial effect against gram-positive bacteria, and also has certain antibacterial activity against gram-negative bacteria and some anaerobic bacteria.
This product has a good antibacterial effect on gram-positive bacteria and some gram-negative bacteria except Enterococcus. For example, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, pneumococcus, group A hemolytic streptococcus, Escherichia coli and Proteus mirabilis, which produce penicillinase and do not produce penicillinase, are sensitive to this product; this product is sensitive to Salmonella spp. Gagella, Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, etc. also have antibacterial effects. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus, Enterococcus, Indole-positive Proteus, Enterobacter, Serratia and Pseudomonas aeruginosa are resistant to this product.
Its mechanism of action is to bind to penicillin binding proteins (PBPs) on the bacterial cell membrane to acylate transpeptidase, inhibit the synthesis of bacterial septum and cell wall, affect the cross-linking of cell wall mucopeptide components, and inhibit cell division and growth. The bacteria grow longer, finally dissolve and die.
Mainly used for urinary tract infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as urethritis, cystitis, prostatitis, pyelonephritis, gonorrhea; respiratory tract infections, such as pneumonia, sinusitis, bronchitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis; skin and soft tissue infections, such as Cellulitis, boils; otitis media, etc.
