Enoxacin is given to treat infections of the lower respiratory system, urinary tract, sinuses, the skin, bones and joints, and prostate. Enoxacin is also used for inhalational anthrax, STDs, severe bronchial infections, infectious diarrhea, typhoid fever, and pneumonia.
Applicable to the cause of the sensitive bacteria:
1 urinary and reproductive system infection.
2 respiratory tract infections, including acute and pulmonary infections caused by Gram negative bacilli.
3 gastrointestinal tract infections.
4 typhoid fever.
5 bone and joint infections.
6 skin and soft tissue infections.
7 systemic infection such as sepsis.
Enoxacin is a third-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic that has a broad-spectrum, potent bactericidal effect. It has no significant cross-resistance with other antibiotics and is highly sensitive to multidrug-resistant Enterobacteriaceae. In the 1980s, it has been used in Japan, Germany, etc. to treat various bacterial infections with good efficacy, and adverse reactions are rare. Clinically, it is mainly used for infections caused by gram-negative bacteria and positive bacteria that are sensitive to them, such as urinary, intestinal, respiratory, surgical, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology, and ENTs and other infectious diseases.
